Today, we celebrated elementary student achievement at our quarterly assembly. Congratulations to the students for their hard work and dedication to school! We sure are proud of them.

The Oran R-III School District’s music department, led by Ms. Flanigan, has been awarded a Southeast Missouri STEAM mini-grant. This grant aims to enhance the integration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics in educational programs across the region.

Olivia Smith earned first place for her essay in the Morley VFW Patriot’s Pen Essay Competition. Her essay advanced to the District 15 level, where she proudly secured third place. She received her award Sunday at the district 15 luncheon held at the VFW Post in Sikeston.

The Oran Choir preformed at Clearview Nursing Center is morning. They really did spread holiday cheer to all in attendance!




The Chaffee parade has been postponed until Sunday night due to inclement weather. The Oran band will not be participating in the parade due to scheduling conflicts.

The Oran High School health class received CPR training today!
