Fletcher will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana to perform during the 98th Annual National FFA Convention & Expo, held October 29–November 1, 2025, at Lucas Oil Stadium, where more than 75,000 people will be in attendance.
This summer, Fletcher submitted audition recordings to the National FFA, competing for one of only 70–90 coveted spots in the band. Students from across all 50 states and U.S. territories apply each year for this opportunity.
The Oran FFA Chapter proudly recognizes Fletcher’s dedication and talent and wishes him the best of luck as he represents Oran on the national stage at the 98th National FFA Convention.

Oran R-III is proud to celebrate two of our own! 🎉
Two members of our school community have been awarded the Missouri Retired Teachers Association (MRTA) Foundation Grant.
MRTA Region 12 Vice President Mark Cook presented the awards to Mrs. Jo Schlitt, high school secretary and retired Oran R-III teacher, and Mrs. Crissy Daniel, high school science teacher.
These grants, provided through the MRTA Foundation, help enhance educational opportunities and support innovative projects that benefit students. Both Mrs. Schlitt and Mrs. Daniel plan to use the funding to strengthen resources, create engaging learning experiences, and further enrich the academic environment at Oran High School.
We are grateful to MRTA for recognizing the dedication of our staff and for supporting exceptional opportunities for our students.
👏 Congratulations to Mrs. Schlitt and Mrs. Daniel on this well-deserved recognition, and thank you for your continued commitment to student success at Oran R-III!
