On October 30th, FCCLA members Emma Dennis and Kierstyn Reynolds hosted a Safe Driving Presentation for Oran students in grades 7–12. A huge thank-you goes out to Missouri Highway Patrol Sergeant Parrott, 911 Director Angie Rodgers, Detective Dennis, and Chief Ourth for sharing their time, stories, and powerful reminders about making safe choices behind the wheel. We’re so grateful for their support and commitment to keeping our community safe.

We’ll be selling Nothing Bundt Cakes, and members will be bringing home order forms today.

See any Sr. Beta Member to order before Wednesday Nov. 5th.

Order pickup will be Wednesday, December 10th at 3:00 PM in the high school lobby, Cakes will be picked up fresh that day from the Arnold Nothing Bundt Cakes location!

All proceeds support our school service projects—including the Eagles Nest Food Pantry and the local Christmas Drive—as well as club events such as state and national conventions and contest expenses.

October 30, 2025 from 1:00–3:00 PM, we will host an Impaired Driving Assembly presented by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Please note, there will be a heavier police presence on campus during this time — this is part of the scheduled event. We just wanted to make everyone aware in advance.

Mrs. Seyer's kindergarten class has been working on letter formation, rhyming and site words. These skills are helping them prepare to read. While they are in the library, they are learning how to handle books, understand context through illustrations and pictures, along with how to share the best part of their books with friends!

Oran CTA has their "Tat the Teacher" booth all set up for Monday morning! All proceeds of this fundraiser go towards our Certified Teachers Association, which helps fund a scholarship for seniors. Visit the booth at breakfast to buy tattoos for your favorite teacher!
